Welcome to ASV
ASV is one of the best and largest volleyball clubs in Denmark.
We are established in 1960 and has in several years participated in the elite series for both women and men, but we have teams in any series in Danish volleyball.
Our mission is to promote volleyball among students in Aarhus. Our vision is to create the best volleyball environment in Denmark. We see alle players individually, and wish to develop skills at any level.
We shape the development of Danish volleyball via the resources and innovative forces that the combination of a rich association life and elite sports gives us.
ASV forms, through close cooperation with local as well as national organisations, sports associations and educational institutions, the best surroundings for exercise and the development of the game.
Want to play in ASV?
We have teams at all levels and at any level of competitiveness. Our coaches are experienced volleyball players and/or coaches, and do anything to make your practice the highlight of the week!

Here is a quick guide to our teams. Please note that the column "your experience" is a guideline.

| Intro | You are a beginner. | We give you an introduction to volleyball. The Intro team(s) will most probably be a mixed team, but this depend on the players at the season in question. | No official games |
| Jyllands- serie | You have 1-2 years of experience. | We introduce specialized positions and play with the 1-setter system. This is gendered teams. | 8 days per year, where each gameday could consist of 3-4 games. |
| Danmarks- serie | You are more experienced, and already knows the basics and about system and positions. | We work even more with the positions and more advanced exercises. This is gendered teams. | 8 days per year, where each gameday consists of 2 games. |
| 2nd Division | +3 years of experience, and feel confident in your position on the court and in the system. | We get more detailed with the technical and tactical aspect of volleyball. This is gendered teams. | These teams play games 3 out of 4 weekends from October to March, not counting in Christmas. |
| 1st Division | Several years of experience, and you are willing to enter into practices that are meant to be developing towards the elite teams. | We introduce you to even more advanced exercises and to the more strategic aspect of volleyball. This is gendered teams. | These teams play games 3 out of 4 weekends from October to March, not counting in Christmas. |
| Elite | You are a player at the highest level, and you are ready to give an extra effort by practicing 4-5 days per week + physics. | We work at the highest level of volleyball in Denmark including all aspects of the game. This is gendered teams. | These teams play games in almost every weekend from October to April, however not during Christmas. |
| Mix 1 Mix 2 | Different levels and different age group. The teams are open to anyone who wants to explore volleyball in a mixed team. | We work at the level of the players. These teams is mostly about getting some exercise. This team is for any gender. | The teams play games 4-6 days per season, where each game day could consist of around 3 games. |

What is ASV?
Aarhus Studenternes Volleyballforening (ASV) has high sporting ambitions. We are a club with a unique sense of community and a lot of dedicated individuals who work hard every day to ensure a developmental, ambitious, and engaging training and association environment for players at all levels. Due to our unique cohesion and environment, ASV was honored with the Sports Volunteer Award in 2023.
As a partner with ASV, you become a part of Denmark's largest and oldest volleyball club. Our many members play volleyball at all levels, from introductory and youth levels to elite series for both genders.
We aim to elevate the Aarhus volleyball scene to the next level and develop new volleyball talents while strengthening the broadness of our entire club.
Why become a partner in ASV?
As part of our partnership program, you will have the opportunity to participate in several networking meetings where you can meet our other partners and learn more about our association. You are also welcome to organize an employee event around a league match, where we can provide you with free admission.
From a branding perspective, there are many possibilities, such as banners and roll-ups in the arena or shares at our social media channels. If you have a great idea, we can, for example, create a fun Instagram video together, incorporating your company. It's also possible to have your logo printed on player's jerseys, warm-up jerseys, etc.
We can offer you exposure and marketing to our members/fans and other partners through our social media, website, and events.
